Calls - Apple TV+

This show is really different. I'm three episodes in and I'm hooked. There are no actors or places shown. It's all strange phone calls accompanied by compelling computer graphics and text of what's being said on the calls. All the episodes are very short, like in the 12 minute range. So there's no big time commitment to watch it.

Try it if you're serious about watching something probably very different from anything you've seen before.

I decided to check this out. Watched the first 3 eps, and while the first 2 didn't quite hook me, I enjoyed the 3rd with Pedro Pascal. Although with the voices processed to sound like a phone call, I couldn't help but think about how he sounded like his character in The Mandalorian.

I'll definitely keep going with this.

I finished the 9 episodes last night. It didn’t really become apparent to me that there’s a thread connecting all the calls together until I got to about Ep 4. In Ep 9 we get somewhat of an explanation as to what’s been going on previously.

Some of the eps are longer than 12 minutes. Don’t know where I read they're all 12 mins that but that is wrong. The longest was around 22 mins.

I liked it. Well worth my time.
