Can anybody give me some advice?:)

i mean is my jazz bass on its way to its doom as everybody is saying?
when i mean a U-shape i mean that only a little U not like everybody is thinking here( i must apologize myself for not expalining better in the beggining). as i said before just a little quarter turn thats it.
The strings are higher from the neck and no buzzing(till now) is there..
any tips for me to do?

it doesn't but now we know your neck isn't a u. but if you didn't touch the bridge at all, and the strings are high enough for you to say they're high, and since theres no buzzing, chances are you turned the truss rod quite a bit. more than a quarter turn that's for sure.

Take it to a tech. and try to undo what you did, by turning the truss rod the other way a couple times. But do 1 quarter of a turn wait 30 minutes, then another quarter, and so on.

There's nothing to worry about. Eliminating string buzz usually requires: 1) more neck relief, and/or 2) more saddle height.

This U-shape...how much relief do you have when you measure it? If it isn't a lot don't worry about it. If it is a lot you could raise your saddles and tighten the TR nut a little.

dude find a good tech. call them and find out what gauge strings they recommend, go buy some strings that fit the bill and take it to the guy for a setup.

i've set up friends' basses to be in D many times w/o a problem. u should be fine but it does sound like the old tech might not be that awesome

No pics no U-shaped neck.

(just take it to a new tech and find someone to teach you how to do your own setups)
