Can anyone explain this "port"? Ashdown Studio 8

But is it also an actual port or just a cubby hole?
It's closed in the front and open in the rear, so I'm going with Power Cord Shipping Port. Port sounds so much better that hole. I haven't used it since.
But I'm curious.... if I stuff a sock in it, will I lose my Midrange Timbre and Harmonics? :)

To me, that makes even less sense than the various odd theories advanced in this thread. Weird.

I'm gonna stick with the concept of that being where you store your port. :D
Yeah, Im kinda disappointed the OP posted the response from Ashdown so quickly.
I was having fun with the wacky responses.
Maybe if you could squeeze down tiny enough and climb inside you could control John Malcovich’s brain.

Does nobody put their weed in their cabs anymore?
I was expecting at least five would have put their weed in there.

SaltyFingers, Welcome to Talkbass.
Also, you can put your weed in there.
OK, so I was trying to not say this, but that was the first thing I thought of lol, especially since it is sealed on the front end and things won't wind up out of reach within the cabinet. AND the cable can secure the load lol

Safety meeting port. :bassist:
