Can anyone identify this Bass?

Geoff Luttrell, Founder/Owner and master Guitar builder at S.F. Guitarworks, does not think this Bass is any sort of a "Production" Bass. He cited all the little strips of Ebony, all the little details....he stated he thinks it's a true "One of a Kind" Handmade Bass. I should get it back from him this Friday, and I can't wait!

Has anyone suggested Bruce Bennett? Just speculating, but he worked for Tobias, designed and built the original Warrior basses and has done a ton of custom work, plus that headstock inlay could be interpreted as a B (or two!). He posts on The Gear Page, Harmony Central, etc. Worth shooting him a message.

Nobody has mentioned him! I'll see if I can find him.

I wonder if any of the owners of this bass have sent photos of the preamp to NTE electronics. Not only did NTE change logos throughout history, but they may have something on file since they more than likely made the PC board. When it was made, and possibly who they made it for.

That may be one more step toward the ID of it.
