Can anyone identify this Bass?

Wow! It's really cool of you to do that! --And amazing nothing came up as a hit!
no and I'm surprised for how nice this bass looks that there wasn't at least something else coming from this builder, even check 6 string guitars and nothing with this head stock logo inlay crazy, I think you may want to try the guys at no treble they do a bass of the week thing so they have seen a ton of bass maybe they we know the builder?

Good Idea!

Hah, my gut feeling ID'd the bridge and pickups. I'm proud:D

Now I'm very curious about the sound and how it plays! It looks really great and my experience with Kent's pickups are pretty darn decent. So if you're ever in the Amsterdam area and have the bass with you, let me know:roflmao:

Maybe I should make a little Video. I've never done that before, but...maybe this would be a good time to try!

--And-- BE PROUD! Those were good calls!

I don't know if ID'ing the preamp will help. If you look at the quality on the soldering of the components on the board it's much higher than that of the wiring, some of which is really pretty bad. Insulation melted, rosin left on, holes at some points. Anyway the soldering of the wiring was done by one person and board elsewhere so they probably bought the preamp from an outside vender and may not be the builders design, just an off-the-shelf item from someone else.

One corner of the board is cut on an angle so did the builder cut it off for fit, was it made that way by the vender to the builder's specs or is that just how it comes? I don't know if you looked at that edge it would necessarily help determine who made the cut. That is a pretty tight space to squeeze that board in, it just barely fits between the sides of the cavity.

Possibly it is built by a vendor to the builders spec's, in which case it seems like some kinda production company or startup. Maybe a one-off for a demo or NAMM or something? Might it have been built for a sponsor?

At any rate, I would not necessarily spend a lot of time trying to track it down, a lot of 'What if's'.

I think you're right. But ANY info is helpful...and your input is greatly helpful! Thanks!
