Can I connect my Zoom B3n to audio interface?

Quick question : I'm totally new to recording my bass lines, can I connect something like this:
Bass(active) -> Zoom B3n -> focusrite 2i2 -> laptop with daw application

Of course you can, you can connect the balanced output from the B3N to the 2i2 and make sure you keep an eye on the input levels to avoid overloading the signal.

I'm interested in doing this as well. Is it possible to go directly from the zoom b3 into a PC without anything in between since the zoom b3 has an XLR out?

You can connect directly using the USB connection. Steal a cable from your printer and your B3 will work as an interface to record through whatever software you'd like.

Since this can be done directly through USB or through input into an audio interface like @Alik mentions, are there any benefits to doing it one way versus another or just personal preference?
