Can I use 2 ampeg ba210v2 cabs together?

Is it possible to just use the second one as an extension cab? If so, would I just leave the amp on the second one turned off? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I know I can pair it with pf210he,etc but theoretically if I just had 2 ba210's could I just use one as a full combo and the other as an extension to get the full 4 ohm 450w?

… or, you could just pick up something like this, and run the signal into both amps, use both power sections, both control sections and run each head at 8 ohms, 280+ watts each/560+ combined … as long as you are lugging it, you may as well use it, and you have a back-up with at all times … only need one, just use one ...everything is done externally

Does the P Split have level controls? The only thing I'd be worried about using a splitter is it'll cut your bass signal in half and split it between two outputs, so a level control is always nice to make up for the lost gain. Sometimes it can work, sometimes it doesn't.

However, if I'm not mistaken, you can use the line out on one and run it into the other and that should take away the worries about not enough gain. Since he was specifically looking to use the second as an extension cab, I didn't bring it up, but I'm with you...much easier just to run both amps and split your signal or run a line out.
