...between my Mesa WD-800 and Subway cabinets? I know you shouldn't use an instrument cable as a speaker cable, but a wireless unit shouldn't have small inner core issue and then I can put the cab and receiver within range of the transmitter and then it should work?

My understanding is if you change out the speakon connectors to NEMA 5-15 connectors, you can just plug everything in through the AC wiring in the venue. You might get a little 60 hz hum, but that will quickly subside.

Why shouldn't this be feasible. It's just energy transmission. Hell, a big commercial radio station is pumping out 10,000 watts, so 500W over radio for a bass amp ought to be easy. There are already experimental microwave power transmission systems, so surely no theoretical reason why one shouldn't have one which is modulated to carry music.

just buy or build a proper cable. for the $ you'd spend on a wireless, which won't work, you can get whichever length speaker cable you need.

next question: Can you use $19.95 blue tooth ear buds from Amazon for IEMs?

Why not just get Longer cables?

You certainly can, but remember that speaker cables are un-shielded and long un-shielded wirea tend to act like an RF antenna. So you may get the local radio show coming through your amp.
