Can I use a wireless...

...between my Mesa WD-800 and Subway cabinets? Have a situation where the head needs to be closer to the wall outlet for the power c[h]ord to reach and then my speaker cables won't reach where I want to put the cabinets. I know you shouldn't use an instrument cable as a speaker cable, but a wireless unit shouldn't have small inner core issue and then I can put the cab and receiver within range of the transmitter and then it should work?

You can't pump speaker level powered signals over wireless, if that's what you mean. At best it won't work, at worst, the magic smoke is released.

You would need a second amplifier near the speaker for the wireless receiver. You can't plug a speaker into a wireless receiver any more than you can plug one into an EFX box.

Not to mention, quality wireless gear is not cheap. It would be far more practical just to buy a longer speaker cable. Of if you already have two cables, get a coupler.

I'll play...Nikola Tesla would have likely had a technique you could use although it might require building something like the Wardenclyffe Tower to pull it off...if it were me I'd go with longer speaker cables and/or an electrical extension cord. Happy April Fool's day!

I have had good luck with the $20 Temu wireless guitar unit for my bass rig.

Even ran a whole festival last summer with that same unit and had no cables at all going from the sound booth to the stage 400ft away... no problem. Full sound!

The speaker cable has 1/4” plugs. The wireless has 1/4” plugs. I don’t see any reason why this wouldn’t work.

Plug your speaker cables into the wall outlet. If they are on the same electrical circuit as your amp, it will transmit the signal through the electrical cables.
