Can Sweetwater.com be trusted?

I've bought from them a few times, and will again, as much as possible. Great customer service...

I once bought a Gibson jack plate from them. $7.99 shipped. (I know shipping had to cost them at least a couple bucks...) They sent me probably a buck's worth of candy with it. Then they paid a rep probably $12 an hour to call me and make sure I was happy with my jack plate... we talked for probably 4 or 5 minutes, basically just talking gear... no additional sales attempts, he just asked what I put the plate on, I told him a Gibson Les Paul bass, and then we discussed how silly it was for Gibson to use plastic ones from the factory, and how they should just use metal ones on all models, and so on... At $12 an hour, that's around $1 worth of his time. So between the wholesale cost of the part, the expense of shipping, the candy, and the conversation, it probably cost Sweetwater money to send me that jack plate... But the customer service aspect bought them a customer for life. :)

I've made several purchases from them including a mixer, bass, and a mic locker. Their service and knowledge is off the charts. I love the way they handle their customers. Everyone is treated as if their need is the most important thing they have to deal with at that moment. Their reps know their stuff. I have nothing negative to say about any experience with them. My rep is Nick Church. If you're considering buying from Sweetwater, do so with confidence. I have never heard anyone relate a negative experience with them. Problems come up. Errors happen. If one happens with them, they'll make it right promptly. Pull the trigger!

Sweetwater is an amazing company, I think half my gear came from them. I love that on every order you personally have a representative appointed to you to help you through the whole purchase. Plus that interest free for 24 months credit card ain't half bad either.

They are the perfect blend of internet sales and personal service. My rep is Zach Bailey - he helped me a *lot* with a recent snake purchase and some silly little accessory pieces. I'm gonna make a big purchase of some new powered mains through them soon based on his excellent performance.

I called them for the first time today and spoke with Ed Needler. He was really helpful and extremely friendly.

Thanks to him, sometime next week I'll have this beauty in my possession which will arrive freshly set up with Rotosound Black Nylon.
