Can Sweetwater.com be trusted?

Sweetwater is the best experience I've had purchasing new music equipment, either via the internet or in person. Incredibly helpful and personal customer service.

+100

Absolutely stellar all the way around - the tech support is unbelievable and the customer service agents product knowledge is unparalleled.

If the basses they sell don't have individual photos of each instrument, they will have. They are working on it.

They're great, just make an offer and they'll work with you on a price. If you're reasonable with your offer, they're reasonable with their discount. Don't expect 50% off just by saying you want a cheaper price though, you usually have to offer what you'd pay and they'll work from there.

Yes.
They are my go-to online music store.
They have the best service of any online store I have dealt with.
You get your own personal sales associate, who takes very good care of you (for future sales as well).
Highly recommended.

Just ordered PA equipment there. Musician's Friend and AMS may compare well for price, but there is no comparison for expertise and info. Sweetwater is not just a retailer, they're a real sound company with genuinely knowledgeable people.

By the way, while they have a lot of music equipment, they are not a music store: they also carry (and understand) professional radio broadcasting equipment and pro audio booth equipment that is way out of MF and AMS's league.

Strong community supporters also. Many workshops, camps, concerts and other events for the local musicians. However, they won't let you dumpster dive for boxes. Sometimes I'll go out there just on the off chance they'll have something I can throw money at. At work, we use them to supply audio support and equipment. Can't really go wrong dealing with them.

I bought from them for the first time this past November. Their service was stellar. The only bad thing is that I couldn't refer them to any of my friends because all of my friends who play know about Sweetwater and love them. Even the delivery man who delivered my Yamaha Digital Drum machine buys from Sweetwater. I ordered a Fender Rumble 40 from them. I can't wait to get it.
