On that basis, NO…
I can’t read “real time”, which means I can’t play from sheet music. I was pretty good at it when I was 11 or 12, but that was about 40 years ago, and before I started playing bass. I should really take the time to re-learn.

well not as much for bass, but for voice and Piano Im good. bass clef im strong on, just never transferd the knowledge to bass.
