Can you help me identify this Ibanez sdgr ?

hello everyone !

i can`t indentify this ibanez sdgr. i have never seen one in a shop neither on web.
it looks like an ibanez sdgr 1005, but with 4 strings. so it could be an old sdgr 1000 ?
made in japan : F98 1845

How much would you pay for this bass ?

The only difference is the 1010 in the catalog has a block inlay at the 24th fret. Still, it's probably a 1010; if you take off the neck there's probably a stamp indicating exactly which model it is on the heel and the neck pocket.

The thing about the block inlay is it says "Custom Made." And it's on a crapload of Ibanez guitars and basses, such as the S540LTD, which aren't custom made at all.

That catalog page is from a US catalog. It was likely put together in the US, too (and it was definitely printed in the US), and that means the instruments pictured are from the US distributor, whose custom shops had a habit of putting a "Custom Made" inlay on every instrument sent to them in parts to be assembled there for the US market. This inlay kind of pisses me off because you'll still find S540LTD guitars for sale on ebay, and it's almost a guarantee that the seller will try to present it as a custom made guitar, when the only thing "custom" about it is the inlay.

We've got no indication of where the OP lives, so this could be a non-US/Canada/New Zealand/Australia market piece.

I agree that having a look in the neck pocket is the best bet for identification.

it's a sdgr 1010, I had the 1015 which is the five string version of it.

I checked my scans of the European catalogs, and their 1010 also has the 'Custom Made" block on the 24th fret. So there!

I think all SR4 series are 38mm nut, 19.5 thickness at the 1st, and 19mm spacing.

I see.. So there is not much changes between 90's SR and SR's today (with respect to neck width )?
