Recorded from a Portland OR radio station, probably Q105, in the late 80s. This has a *lot* of people stumped on FB. One of the repeating phrases that's understandable is "I was only trying to make the world more personal".

It was my band, and yes, we were unknown. Many were correct that we played about a year, maybe two then moved on. I had no idea anybody was looking for this song. I only found out when I posted a video I made to youtube
Thank you. This has been really weird. There are a lot of threads all over the place about this song. It has taken me a while to contact the other guys and I'm supposed to have a call with the drummer today. There are actual cover versions on YouTube. We are through the looking glass, it was just a demo tape. Anyway, I think it would make an interesting podcast. BTW, I do remember that I was playing a Yamaha BB300 that had replaced the pickups with an EMG PJ setup. That is why it sounds so hot, the engineer didn't know what to do with it. I wasn't using a pick, just fingers.
