Can you recommend a DI for me

the OP is happy with the sound of his rumble 30, so that was actually my exact and only point!
the '85 TKO would probably be a step up!

A JDI is probably a more practical suggestion.
Here's the best DI comparison I know of.
my suggestion of the IMP 2 would do, but the JDI has the jensen transformer, which means it should absolutely do better; if the OP can get to the $100 ballpark and can score one, he would indeed have something he could keep long after he's outgrown the fender practice amp.
aha! haven't listened to it yet, but i wonder what kind of bass was used? active vs. passive, it makes a difference.
OP has Rumble 30 as an amp. TB recommends $700+ DI boxes. Nice one.

Your church should have a DI box, get them to invest in one, and if they don't - a Countryman type 85 or a Radial one would do and would last - they also give you a decent tone. The REDDI, good as it is gives you a tube amp tone, and that may not be your bag.
Don't worry about the comments here about the rumble, if you DI , your amp becomes a personal or shared foldback ...if it isn't, then the engineer or the PA is not up to scratch.

I love my Sadowsky. Sometimes I put it in my pedal chain for the EQ.

Hey Einstein how are people ever gonna expand their knowledge of gear if no one ever exposes them to what's out there? It's not like I said that was what he needed to get. I pointed out its benefits and then posted Tony Levin playing through a bunch of DI's so the OP could make his own decision. And you're suggesting a Behringer.....Nice.
I sold a JDI in great condition earlier this year for $100.

Thank you, John. Very nice of you to say. I very rarely do shows anymore, preferring to keep my weekends and nights to play, although they twisted my arm to do the Irish Tenors this coming Wednesday night December 4th (Yeah, right!!!). But they keep me very busy in the shop under the Operations Manager title.
We are currently returning 24 Countryman Type 85s, 3 at a time, to have the 1/4" jacks replaced. They are worn to the point of the now-unplated contacts in the jack corrode very quickly and are a continuing source of problems. Once they are returned, we intend to Ebay them out and replace them with JDIs. If you've done Charlie Daniels lately, you know that Bob Workman is on a mission to eliminate all phantom-powered devices and based on comments from my guys last October (no, I didn't do the show), he's down to 2 KSM32s for overheads as his only phantom-powered devices on their stage. He insists it makes for a much quieter system and I believe him, although we can't quite go that far and still satisfy those danged-ol' riders...
And later this week, I get to join the Music Man club around here! I'll try to post pics when it arrives.

I've had Countryman 85 DIs for a while and now have a couple of Radial JDIs, either one is acceptable and since the OP is using an active bass I'd lean toward the Radial.

I carry one with me and use it for Jamhub based rehearsals...They sound great.
I love the REDDI but thats a little overkill wouldna say folks...I also gig regularly with the JDV but thats still over the top a bit for the OP.

The reason I say a used IMP-2 is the guy doesn't even want a DI. For $20 he can get this guy off his back.
The rumble fills the room because there are no drums. The problem is that to keep up with the guitar and piano it's too loud where we sit.
Omg that's funny.
I actually do like the sound I get from that rumble but when I play out with my other band I have a 410 cab that's a rumble too. Works perfect for what I do.
Yeah, I don't really see myself with a $700 DI.
