I am setting up a small band to do weddings, etc. I have a pair of Behringer B212A active PA speakers for the mains. I was wondering if it was possible to run a couple of passive speakers from the output of the active speaker. I have a small Alesis 8 mixer to run the vocals through. Nothing big and fancy, just the basics right now.

Can you run passive speaker from active?

Without major surgery and careful planning You can't with your cabs.
IMLE about 50% of low-mid price actives can be hooked to a slave cab, and the other half obviously can't

I have an output on my board, a Yamaha, that allows me to connect to powered speakers. I do the same for my passive speakers, but the board runs into a second power amp and then into the speakers. My JBL powered speakers get one signal and then you can daisy chain cab to cab.
