Can you use a Guitar cable as a speaker cable?

Besides, it's just a practice rig.

PS - don't forget that the mass majority of car stereo's use 14-16 guage wire standard to run minimums of 50 watts to the speakers and that stuff has to accomodate for fluctuating temperatures!!!

Two out of three isn't bad. There is very LITTLE chance that you will damage the amp. You will just waste power, and heat up a cable . . . .

And 65 watts into an 8 ohm load is just 2 amps, which is not an unreasonable load for 20 ga. wire . . . . . . . so no problems, implied or otherwise . . . .

For someone that does electrical engineering, you should know that having the amplifier turned up 1/4 doesnt mean its putting out 1/4 of the power, there are too many variables, and any hard hit peaks will probably be much higher than 65 watts. Not to be argumentative or anything :p
