There are more than a few FBasses around in Toronto, but it is still Fender country IME. Some Laklands, Stingrays and Sadowskys and the odd Warwick, but surprisingly TONS of Fenders in the wild. When I was in Toronto at a family wedding, I got to see several musicians playing F basses, and got to try one out. VERY impressed.
Cool with me as after hundreds of gigs with high end basses including Foderas, I have only had a handful of bassists ask me about my gear. More interested in my Jule Monique Dovecage, actually.
Anyhoo, FBass is worth a visit. Great people and their shop is definately a bass geekfest!
