Can't decide between Fender and Sandberg

How do you like your Sandberg?

I am considering either a Fender Precision V or a Sandberg VT 5-string.

I've only learned about Sandberg Basses in the past year or so...only because I'm lucky enough to know a band whose bassist works for them...

I have played and owned many nice instruments over the years and had just purchased a Lakland 55-94 when I met him and got turned onto these basses...and I can HONESTLY say that the TM5 Supreme would be my choice over the Lakland if I had to do it all over again...

It is an INCREDIBLE playing and sounding bass...you will not regret it

The sandberg compared to an Ibanez SR 1205. Different price range. How's the neck profile on the different basses?

If a "stock" fender was what you were looking for you wouldn't even consider the deluxe. so If you want modern versatility in a bass that's really well made and fun to play with an insanely good preamp then get the Sandberg. if you want a stock passive bass get the fender standard or vintage reissue, skip on the fender deluxe.

I almost bought a Sandberg but ended up with a G&L. I say go fender.

I have played fenders, for many years.
I have also recently been introduced to Sandberg. My friend has a Electra TT4.
The built is by far better than fender import models. Even comparable to American made Fenders.
The tone is great as well on the import Sandberg I played. It had the 2 band active, or passive feature.
As far as I can see, Sandberg basses rock just as good as Fenders.
Try one, you won't be disappointed.
