I just recently got a thunderfunk 550 to go with my aguilar db 210. I get the greatest tone in my room, but when i go out to rehearsal i cant for the life of me get a good tone. I have heard that a cubed room is the worst for acoustics especially bass and that an asymmetrical room is the ideal. Well my room is the perfect example of a cube shape and it sounds amazing, but in the rehearsal space is a huge asymetrical shape, ***!!!!!! Should i try elevating my 210 and if so on what? I know bass waves are bigger and thus have the possibility of skipping large areas, it can sound good in one area and sound dull in another. I assume i should try moving the cab around more, though i have moved in two places both resulting in the same sound, i have also tweaked the eq in both places but no luck, i mean i wouldnt have all day to tweak the sound at a real gig, do you think its just this room?
