Sighs..C B was always a cult following at best in these parts..

Although when I listen every now and then..sounds dated..yet still awesome.

The early vinyl version ..'holographic' .. cover ...if that ls what it is..don't know what it was called in '70's.. is highly sought after. If anyone posting owns one..probably goes for big $$ in excellent condition.

I bought one in 2013...online seller said "...it was frame-worthy". It is.
Set me back $40.

I still have the first three Captain Beyond albums on vinyl I bought new back in the day. Great stuff! I also have the aforementioned Armageddon album on vinyl. All are in near mint condition.

Captain Beyond Live 1972 Part One

I love watching the videos. But the camera work drives me right out of my mind!

Everybody in the band gets his share of close-ups...except poor Lee Dorman. Even when he's playing some especially interesting/groovalicious parts, you can never actually see what he's doing. The camera is always focused somewhere else. Always.

It's like watching a football game on TV...and just as one of the running backs makes a spectacular catch in the end zone, the camera is focused exclusively on some offensive lineman who's already out of the play. Further evidence that directors typically know next to nothing about music...
