Make a cardboard box with the same exact dimensions and bring it to the dealership to see if it fits. (Oops, somebody beat me to it! I should have read all posts first.)

Car that fits a fridge...

The most inconvenient way I transported an 810 was across the back seat of a 1995 Honda Accord. Had to remove the hinge pin to let the door open wider, but it worked!
You have to be sharp in 3-D space to measure all of the dimension properly to make sure it really fits, as the cargo space in most vehicles is not a perfect rectangle, but a series of compound curves.
It actually does wind up being more foolproof to take the item you wish to fit and test it.
I don't have a fridge. but I shove a GK NEO412, a large 4 space rack case, Pedaltrain 3 with case, rolling gear case, guitar stand & 2 basses w/ hard cases in my 2015 Soul...Plus have a passenger up front.
I actually took my cabinet when I went car shopping, they looked at me funny, but understood that if they want to sell me a new car, this cab needs to fit.
I own a CR-V, I can confirm that an 8x10 and SVT head will fit in the vehicle with BOTH back seats folded down. The head was a SVT4 Pro, I think, the rack mount type w/ front handles, an SVT "in the box" I can't confirm, But I would think it would fit.

Honda Fits are awesome for 810s. Low to the ground and they fit perfectly with the back seats folded flat. You can even fit it on its side with one back seat still up.
My parents have a CRV and I'm sure a fridge would fit in there. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, which is a really good value and will fit a fridge (although I don't have one). The Subaru Forester I used to have would fit one too and the Outback definitely will. Most SUVs will have enough space.
If you like the Ford Escape and your gear fits like a glove then why not simply look into a newer model? If they don't make it anymore then look at a similar model.
Drummer friend took his entire set to dealership to try in car.
A smart dealer will let you take the car home.
Do you know a Fender bass case doesn't actually fit across the way discontinued Chevy Vega? Tried this when they were new/late model. Didn't own but used.
Don't car factories have a fender measuring device? Or is that Fender?

Mazda CX-5. It's like unloading a clown-car when people see how much I get in it. Fridge, head, Marshall Half-stack, 1 bass, 2 guitars, trimmings & luggage. My guitar player and I travel in it a whole lot. Get's awesome gas mileage as well.

I have two Subaru Outback's and a Ford E-250 cargo van.
Bought first OB about 10 years ago as a new car for my wife, its practical, versitle and comfortable. Outback will haul your rig, plus a bass, plus your guitar picker's amp and guitar when he needs a ride....plus a cooler and suitcases.
Liked it so much I bought another one for myself in 2013 when I found out that the my 2014 was the last year I could get a manual transmission.

Focus ST will do the job but I feel like the Focus RS would be more appropriate. If that doesn't work, a GLA45 AMG will certainly work out for you!
I love my 2013 Outback. Has more usable cargo space than many SUVs, and rides great on and off-road.
That is such a great video. I remember feeling like a moron after watching it though, because he makes it look so easy. Now I schlep my GK 810 with ease.

You make a compelling argument! Actually, if the RS was available when I bought my car (back in late 2012), I would have likely opted for the Focus RS over the Veloster Turbo.
Unnecessary and overkill.
The taller vehicle also makes it less easy to tilt the large cab in, so requires more lifting.
Any wagon or minivan (with folding or removable back bench) will work.
I can fit my 6x10 across the back seat of my 2011 fiesta... don't think theres a way to fit the 810 unless its a hatch then you should be ok
