That video looks very professional. Why was it made? Is the trio CD going to include video footage or is Dominique doing it for (fingers crossed) an instructional project?

This video is include in the French (paper) magazine "Guitarist" of this month.

yes it is a bridge that was co-designed by DdP and Neuser basses. It produces a fretless-like sound.

Dominique has no fretless system on his Fodera. The bridge is from Neuser, but he has removed the rest of the system.

Yes, he is quite exceptional. He plays that bass as if it were a flamenco guitar. I've said it on these forums before, playing the classical guitar contributes greatly toward achieving that style on the bass. Dom is a classical guitarist! Pick up a classical and practice on it, you'll be amazed at how you can translate those "phrases" to bass with amazing results.

I got mine off of Half.com...hard to find cds often show up there. Getting ahold of Michael Manring's "Thonk" at a store or online dealer like Amazon is next to impossible, but it often shows up on Half.com

I just looked, and there's several new copies of Front Page there right now for about $14.

Thonk???? I've been looking for that for quite some time. My interest is renewed. I finally found "Que Alegria" and it's on it's way as we speak. But I got Front Page awhile back and it is nothing short of spectacular.
