CARLSBRO GLX150H with GLX 412A info's needed ...

Hi everyone and greetings from Sweden. I got myself a used CARLSBRO GLX150H with GLX 412A and GLX switch. I could use a manuel for it and the top shurely needs servic/repair so electrical shematics would be great. Couldn't find anything on the net yet and the Carlsbro website only featuers 'new' stuff ... I don't even know if its for guitar or bass, bass I hope, but I got guitar as well ... The speakers take 300W (STEREO 2x150W on 4 Ohm) but the top 'only' delivers 150W (?) but it has 2 Mono speaker output ... so ? All help and tips are appriciated ...

Some nice fella from England sent me the electrics ... now I got a chance to fix it.
Still a manual would be nice, there are a lot on in&out's and nobs on it ....

The head and 412 cabinet are intended for use with guitar, not bass. The GLX412A is a 4 x 12" sealed cabinet loaded with 75 watt Celestion speakers, with a total load of 8 ohms. You might be able to use it at low volume for bass but I wouldn't push it.

I've never seen a "stereo" cabinet before, and I seriously doubt you will hear any distinct left/right separation if you use it in stereo. There is next to no physical separation in order to recreate the aural stereo effect. Looks to me like a gimmick. The GLX 150H is a mono amplifier, so don't connect the two outputs to both inputs on this cabinet.

If you only plug in the (R)ight input, all 4 speakers will be engaged and will present a 8 ohms load.
If you have a stereo amplifier, plugging in the left channel to the (L)eft input will separate the top/bottom left speakers from the top/bottom right speakers. Each side will present a load of 4 ohms and will sustain 150 watts.

The box for the amp head might fool you, but the amp is totally transistor based, no tubes. An able tech should sort out any issues in short order.

Thank you so much. This is good to know. I gotta fix the connectors on the 412A, right one's missing, then I'm put it in Mono and enjoy the sound of it ...
