I guess I'll join this little club.I am a very happy owner of a B1500. Carvin has certainly given birth to one beast of an amp!

There it is resting quietly on my Carvin BR810. What a killer partnership these two share!
It is now housed in a 10 space EWI Tourcase. I'm trying to finalize my pedal board arrangement before I finally bring it out.
Since getting my fEARful cabs put together, I have definitely rediscovered the virtues of my B1500. I still rank this high on my list of preferred heads.

Tom,
What are the speakers in those fearfuls? 12s and 6s?
Do the BX series really sound as good as the B series even though they are so light? Are the BX amps lacking in low end impact in comparison?
The B and BX designations aren't for their weight.
The current B2000 is Class D, so is 13 lbs while putting out all that wattage.
I believe all the B-series are mono-block, and BX are dual-amps with integrated crossovers.
Mr. Theoy, where did you score that handy carrying bag for the amp?? I'd love to get one.
With the two big boys this is true. I believe the BX500 does not cross over.......I sold mine a while ago so

Ah right. I guess I meant, was anything lost (as far as tone or feel) in the transition from lead sled to class D?
In other words, power differences and weight aside, is there any reason to prefer a B1500 over a B2000?
Same question for a BX1500, any reason to prefer a B1500 over a BX1500?
I got it yesterday and played it and let it run for several hours - no problems - ran cool the entire time.
Any idea about the fan running non-stop?

Is this product discontinued? I cannot find it on the Carvin site, only the B2000?
