Carvin LB75 ressurection

Could you just sand and polish the rosewood with no added oil or finish at the end? Is it a naturally oily wood, or does it tend to be dry when not oiled?
I usually treat all fretboards to keep them from drying out either fretted or fretless and that usually makes them darker then the fresh cut or sanded wood. And for porous woods to keep then from loading up with filth.

Okay time to put this one to bed:thumbsup:. The rosewood fretboard will be the choice;). I've started working it to size:hyper:.
