Is the rosewood fretboard rolled? I am not talking about tone. The feel of the SB4000 in my hands can I FEEL the difference between the maple, birds eye or the rosewood fretboard. Thanks in advance. Got a maple neck P bass which I love but I can feel the neck is not rolled. Yea petty stuff but its a curious question.
When I spoke with a knowledgable Carvin rep a few years ago, he swore by that combination of body woods. Nicely done !
Flock, the dude who helped with this, was OVER the MOON, about the combination. More excited than me, as I sorta backed in to the thing. I'm very happy now.

Just the top. To be honest I don't know whether the dulcet tones come from the Koa, Swamp Ash or God Himself, however, it is PHENOMENAL. To me. And looks like something in a museum. Thank you Flock at Carvin San Diego!

I'm a sucker for seeing nice wood. Pretty much default config with SS frets, Maple over Ash. 9.3lbs.
There are a few nice SB5000s up there right now. I notice the weights are going down.
Nice score Jarrett. I'm afraid what a fretless shows up to my liking, I may have to do that too.

That thing is hot. I prefer flamed to quilted, but with the clear finish and maple board, it looks amazing. I understand why you were weak.

LOL...Its probably just the Swamp Ash, I prefer the Ash over Alder both of mine SBs are Ash.
PS Flock is great...Just a fantastic guy.
