Hi guys
I just received my SB5000 yesterday, I'm trying to register the bass but I can't find the serial number anywhere.
isn't is supposed to be on the back of the headstock?
i'll be posting pics soooon
best bass i've ever had!!!
Body is Alder.
I played with my band yesterday, and I never used the volume that low.
it did cut through the mix like a chainsaw cutting butter. HAR HAR HAR.
Thank you guys. I wouldn't have this bass if it wasn't for my wife, cause she encouraged me to order it and she even offered to pay half. I love my Carvin LB,but This bad boy just sounds amazing.
I do like the maple fretboard with no dots. Although I would have gone with the ultimate stealth ebony board.
Does it really sound that much better than your LB series bass?
Not quite a year in my case, but otherwise, +1.Had mine over a year now and still in love
I have a Swamp Ash SB5000 with Flame Koa top. Cannot imagine more. Many who hear my bass are appreciative. Including me. The tone is crazy awesome! Highly recommended.
Do you guys think the up charge for a chambered body is worth it?

Anyone have a Maple over Swamp Ash SB5000? Curious what the sonic differences are between that and straight Alder?
