Gus, you devil, did not know you have an SB5000 too. Cool!
Yep. I am really, really liking it. Everyday I find more and more tones. I sold a certain 55-02 for the proceeds to buy it....

update on the SB4000 fretless.. It's awesome. Just did a video recording with one of the bands i play with.. tone ... simply amazing! XLR out - pre eq, so it's pretty much the sound of the bass into the board. Also, did a gig a couple nights ago at the Toad Tavern in Denver. MASSSIVE full bodied punchy, beautiful tone, through my carvin b1500 and a couple of Genz Benz Neo Cabs.
And lastly did a low vol gig last week with the amazing Arnie J. Green up in Frisco, CO. I showed up too late to set up my rig and ended up running the SB directly into a Bose "tower" PA system, with 24 2" speakers and a couple of 7" woofers i believe. The SB sounded fricking amazing!!!!
Love, love, love the SB4000 fretless.
I agree!Ok- finally a shot of me at a gig with my Spalted Maple SB4000.
(at least the bass looks great)

Sorry dude, but Carvin hit a 100% home run with mine. It's going NOWHERE.The resale movement on these has slowed down... what the hell... y'all really need to be more fickle and put some active SB5000's up for sale.

I also think this is true.I think TB has moved on to the next thing and the SB world is leveling out.

I can honestly say that I've not been this happy with a bass EVER!!!!!!! I've had my SB5000 for almost 2 years now! It just keeps getting better and better!!!
