there was a small rash of them for sale, when the initial news hit that they were discontinued. It was probably people who didn't really want to keep them anyway, thinking they could get a few extra bucks from panic buyers. Agreed, but man, the other Carvin was practically identical in all woods, hardware, build, setup and strings that I was optimistic.
