Seems to me the ideal case for the W10 would be one like AER makes for their small amps. They have a zippered top with a hole for the cab's handle.

Yes that would be perfect. The EA backpack is useless in my opinion - I don't even know why I got one. Mine just sits idle and I carry the Wizzy 10 in one hand and use the EA Messenger box they gave me to carry the Micro 300, AMT preamp and cords and then I put the AMT in the external pocket of the Messenger bag. I just have to make sure I don't smash that part of the bag against anything.

I haven't had to carry the Wizzy in rain or snow yet and ideally I would like a case like the ones AER makes for their amps.

Mooradian makes nice custom, padded cases. They already have models that fit Walter Woods and the GK Microbass line; it shouldn't be a stretch for them to make a workable case for the Micro 300/Wizzy 10.

I have a Mooradian cover for my WZ110-they should have the pattern on file and be able to crank one out easily.

Does it have the soft foam like they use in the deluxe bass bag and the cover for the Contra, or do they use a more rigid foam to give it more structure? Did you have it made a bit larger so that you could possibly fit a Focus or Clarus inside the bag with the speaker? What about a pocket for cords? Any pictures available. Many thanks. While I'm happy with the Protection Racket 14 X 16 floor tom case I've been using since I can fit the Focus/Clarus, cords and a small extension lead cord reel inside with the speaker, I'm very tempted by the deluxe version of the Cajon bag shown here Invalid Link Removed. because I think it may be made of a more rigid foam, offering more protection. I will be buying a second W-110 and am looking at the alternatives to the floor tom bag I've been using since the tom bag is not that easy to carry on the shoulder even though the size is right and the protection offered by the denser foam is wonderful

Well, I took the plunge and ordered one of the Meinl Deluxe Cajon Bags from Musicians Friend for $70. Today, with the help of Roger Shew since my speaker is in Scotland at the moment, I had a chance to check out the fit with the Wizzy 10 and I have to say it is perfect. The case is exactly the right size for the speaker, leaving just enough room at the end to slide in an AI Focus in its padded case. There would also be enough room along the side of the speaker to include a fake book or a bit of music. The case seems to be very well made, although it is not as sturdy as the Protection Racket drum bag that I'm using in Scotland. It also did not come with a shoulder strap, but there are two D rings that seem well reinforced and capable of handling the weight of the cabinet and amp combination. This is a winner! I've attached a couple of photos so that you can see for yourself.
