Case recommendations for hollow body bass

Wow. Thanks @D.A.R.K. - this one's dimensions actually seem OK. AAAAND there is one in stock at a store that I will be driving right past today. I'll bring along the body template and buy one if it fits. If I do, I'll report back.

What’s the upper bout dimension?
This case works for an Epiphone El Capitan

Yorkville Model YAC-DB44
Specs:
- Length: 51.57 inches (131.00 cm)
- Lower Bout: 18.90 inches (48.00 cm)
- Upper Bout: 14.57 inches (37.00 cm)
- Depth: 5.90 inches (15.00 cm)

Yes, that one. I brought the template for the body shape to the store and it just didn't quite fit. The body was just a little too long and wide at the shoulders to fit. The body plan is based on this (Tinozza by L. Mottola ), except with no cut.

The case for the Dean EAB (not EQEAB) should be big enough for that bass. However it’s 19” wide inside.

Just wanted to follow up that the Rockbass bag arrived today and I'm quite pleased it-bass fits just fine, and has much more padding than I was expecting for something in the "cheap" price range. Stitching is decent as well, zippers good and the oversize pockets are a nice bonus (big enough for a d800 head, for example). I think you may need to look up the word "troll," because that wasn't trolling. You asked the rest of us for help, never said you were a giggin' musician who needed it immediately, and the guy offered sound advice under the circumstances. And you ragged on him. Allen was right. You were rude, condescending and altruistic all in one post. Again, that's not trollin'.

Oh, and by the way. The wait time is down to 4-5 weeks on the proper case for this bass.

That was a derail, like the guy I responded to. I'm not interested in turning this into a personal fight. Some of us are actually gigging and recording, yes, and waiting an undefined amount of time that I'm aware of is no help at all. Like this post you made. Thanks for no help at all, it is 4-5 weeks at this point, projected availability. Which is not definitive. The other helpful posts have been great, there are solid options for people who need a case now. You are welcome.

(For those who got here via searches)

I can confirm that the latest reissue (my serial starts with 21?) fits almost perfectly in the official Jack Casady hard case from Epiphone. It needs about a half inch of additional padding behind the body to be a perfect fit.

This also suggests it should fit any other bag/case that the casady fits? No promises. :)
