Yes. Meet Reeses. I was a dog person before we got her. Now we have a very loving cat who thinks she's a human. So far she can open cabinets, my dresser drawer, turn on the cd player on my alarm clock (imagine waking up to SOAD "Prison Song" full blast at 5:30am), and turn off my fan all in an effort to wake us up.

I wouldn't call myself specifically a "cat person" - I actually like dogs more - but I enjoy having cats around.

My kitty is 17-years-old and doing just fine. She's been an indoor cat her whole life. Over the last year or so, she's having a harder time jumping up to the arm of my chair where she likes to sit next to me. She is NOT a lap cat and will shred anyone who tries to pick her up.

dear god, i have to brush her everytime i see her. she sheds so much D=
and she hates when i try to touch her little padded paws *_*
once, i came outside to feed her XD
and there was a small white headless carcass of
a rabbit or something on the porch steps
and fluffy was just laying next to it like there wasn't anything wrong,
then that night, the carcass disappeared, and reappeared again on the porch 2 days later
and my dad, flung it into the woods with a stick XDD

She had her eardrums destroyed! Its one thing to just go deaf from old age or illness, but since she has no balance, that means her inner ear was damaged.

Perhaps someone screwed around with firecrackers and their cat?

My theory is that it was(she died about a year ago )a birth defect; when I found her she looked to be around a year old, had one full-formed ear & one gnarled, but not scarred, little stumpy thing.

I have a 2 yr old Manx that is the shizzle. She is friendly and loves people. She even lets my kids pick her up and carry her around.

And yes, I am very much a cat person (look at my avatar)

I can't help it...that cracks me up.
My mom is a cat person. She literally has like 13 of them. I hate cats, personally. So it always sucks when I'm at her house because those things are everywhere. I won't harm them, mind you. I would never intentionally harm an animal that I didn't plan to eat. But I do my best to make sure they understand that I'm not to be climbed on and my lap is not for them.

I'm not a cat person either, I was always a dog person. I don't actively hate them, but I'm sick of them. 11 Cats! I'm 19, and over my lifetime, they've had maybe about 25 different cats.

Out of the dogs, 3 are left, and I brought my dog across the country with me. Good thing he likes car rides.

They are pretty close! That's actually Becker (I put the names in out order, Nico is the black one), and he's about two right now. Becker started out quite light, but now he is definitely more sandy/tan.

This is Pongo...he died last August...so cool in his coolness...only 14

We, the wife and I, have 2 other cats also ages 14 and 15..
One of them loves to lick the strings on my basses, drives me crazy. That cat-tounge scrapping on rotosounds

I am a cat person...Actually, i like all animals..just cats are way easier to take care of...no walking, no having to let out every 2 hours...I can leave for almost 24 hours and the cat is fine.

I've been fostering kittens lately for the Humane Society. I have 5 little guys now that are almost ready for adoption. They were found under a shed with no mom. Here's 2 of the cuties!!
