Cats

Oh sure ... I like them just fine.. The mindset for a real 'cat person' however should be a realistic one: don't expect too much from cats, as they rarely deliver much of anything. Keeping one's expectations "low" as a cat owner also reduces the frustrations that will eventually follow .

I love cats. I've got one back in Indiana-i've got a picture of her as my cell phone wall paper.

My best friend has 2 cats-one of them [all black] totally digs me. Her other one....is a total tease [typical woman] & will sit just out of arms reach from me.

I'm a dog person. But he might as well be a cat. Not to mention even most small cats could probably kill my dog..( hes a Mini Dapple Dachshund runt, fully grown hes about 5 lbs.)

Cats aren't bad when they're kittens, but every cat I've ever had has turned into a rotten ***** when they grow older.

Not all cats grow grumpy. My cat is 8 years old and a sweetheart, he wouldn't hurt a fly.* Very friendly and smoochy with anyone, though he is scared and hides from little kids.

*he actually eats flies but that's not the point. :hmm:

I want a cat, my parents hate animals, though.

Just curious, do they "go" everywhere instead of the liter box?

No. At least none of the cats I've had or any of my friends' cats. My gf's cat is hilarious. I'll be playing with him, or he'll be napping or laying on someone. He'll get this "oh ****" look on his face, then bolt to his litter box.

Also a funny story. My gf's first cat, when she was a kitten, liked to back into her litter box. One time she just kept backing up and pooped over the side of the litter box.

We let our cat out during the day when we are all at work/college (he loves the outdoors). He does all his business out there, and very rarely uses his kitty litter because he's done it all outside during the day. He does use it when he needs to go at nighttime and he's locked inside though. Remember cats are super clean animals, mine spends a good portion of the day cleaning himself over and over. I don't think they'd like knowing there is a dump in their house. Unless they are kittens and aren't trained.

I have two. One is Morgan and she loves everyone. Except you. She can't stand the sight of you.

This is Shakespeare. If she doesn't like you she will pee on your clothes. She has helped me choose guys. She just pees on the clothes of the ones she doesn't like and usually she's correct! They turn out to be ****wads!
