-with redwood burl top and Koa back

-Hipshot Ultralites(black)
-CB bubinga bridge w/ cocobolo saddles(great bridge)

Anyone who knows me knows im very fussy about basses...there ismore i dont like than do like...but i have to say those are some of the most beautiful instruments i have seen.
I love the body styles and the wood bridge...prices look more than fair as well.

Wow, kind of a weird coincidence that I came across this thread. I'm also an owner of a CB Bass, and I can confirm that they're really nice. Mine is the maple burl top bass on the featured bass page. My experience with luthiers and high end bass manufacturers is limited, but I think this bass was very well made. It's extremely solid and blows my Carvin away in every respect. Tone-wise I think it's awesome, but I'm currenlty looking into a new bass. In all likelyhood I'll be going with Cliff. The one thing that really strikes me about these basses is the figured tops, they're absolutely incredible. There are a lot of great luthiers out there, but unless you go to a smaller, more independent one, you're not going to have so many wood options. I've never even heard of Narra before, but it's an awesome fretboard wood. I love the grainy feel.
