Chance to get an '85 Kubicki EX-Factor

Hi Folks!

I have the chance to get an '85 Kubicki ES-Factor (I guess it's 1st year of the Factor). I live in Argentina and this instrument are quite a rare find... the guy sells it for U$S 2700, is this a good price?

The bass condition is 8,5/10, is fully functional, what do you think?

I hope you could give me a hand with this, sorry for my weak english!

This is the bass:

That price is high. These are not 'collectable' yet and still fetch much less than they were new. I've had 2, one new in 87 and another used (#035)! Excellent basses but $16-1800 is more like it.

With prices 40-50 percent higher in Argentina thats prob an ok price actually. However, from some of the really nice south american made basses Ive seen, Id seriously wonder if you couldnt do just as good with a bass made by lutheir down there for the price. With some custom options just right for you.
