Not a lot of Thanksgiving music out there, but of course there's Charlie Brown Thanksgiving by Vince Guaraldi. I love the CB music and even have the Christmas one remastered on fancy colored vinyl, but I honestly never paid much attention to the T-giving soundtrack. Turns out there's some really fine electric jazz bass work on there by Seward McCain. Great playing and tone. The whole thing has that cool 70's vibe to it.

They were a mid-60’s garage band from Florida(taking their name from an American Vox amplifier), doing the typical frat rock-ish material of the day, who were given a novelty tune, “Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron”, to record, based on the dog’s perpetual fantasy…

It came out at the end of 1966 and was a huge smash hit, so over the course of 1967 several sound-alike follow up singles were released to cash in, with that Christmas themed track closing out the year. After another release referencing the upcoming ‘68 election was issued, their 15 minutes were up and the band faded away, later reuniting to play the oldies circuit.
