+1Used Peavey 210TX or 210TVX. $150 to $200 used and they get loud and sound good.
True. There's a Mesa cab locally here for $150. But that doesn't help the OP. There will be decent deals for decent brands everywhere, but Peavey gear is standard decent and standard cheap, no matter where you are.I disagree with mike. While the the PV cabs are sure to turn up and are cheep and great, these are tough times for some people. Cruise the craigslists and TB classifieds and things will turn up. NOW you can close the thread. ;-)

I disagree with mike.
Fair enough on the Ampeg's availability (although in my expereince, Peavey is much easier to find), but they tend to run a bit more and I don't believe your getting a step up in quality, just a different flavor.+1.
Used Ampeg 2x10 cabs are everywhere in the $200 range. I currently have 3 Ampeg cabs and used to own 5.
Better than Peavey IMO and around the same price.
CL is a dream these days when it comes to finding deals IMO.
I would highly recommend a used cab over a new cab at the same price. The stuff you buy new for $100 would probably be worse than buying a used Peavey/etc cab with a blown speaker! (And you'd probably blow the speaker in the new cab quick enough anyways...) here are deals out there, so look around - tons of cabs for cheap money pop up every day.
