My olp sr5 knock off. I had to upgrade the tuners, pickup and preamp. But the neck is one of the nicest ive ever played, other than a 90's warwick corvette i should have bought
CV 60s P-Bass in Sonic Blue. Got it from Best Buy a few months ago on clearance with a full warranty for just over $200 with tax.
My original Godin Acoustibass. Paid $450 used several years back and it is by far the most played instrument I own... I've tried to find a decent backup for it and paid through the wazoo for 'em.... Including a new A4/SA and a newer Acoustibass I found used and also traded a kidney for.... Nothing has had the same mojo... Next step (after I hit the lottery and join the 1%). Is a Rob Allen ... Needless to say Im not holdin' my breath, especially as ai don't actually play the lottery... I consider that it's a tax on people who don't do math...

Dude, I picked up a '98 Squier affinity I fell in absolute love with a few days ago. It was $95 used. And it played like butter- almost like a better Classic Vibe bass. A little flatter back.

Heh. We called it "EB Labs." It really had that "it rubs the lotion on it's skin" vibe to it. We've since set up the studio in a more comfortable place.
Start Hatin' NOW- Bought a used (but in immaculate condition) Cort Gene Simmons Punisher Bass at GC for $370 after tax. Did a setup, swapped the tuners for Gotohs and a Hipshot D-Tuner. i've recorded with it, and i can't BELIEVE how much i like this thing...

Wow, that is one of the coolest basses I have ever seen.
Personally, I dig the lower-leveled Ibanez soundgear basses. I currently own an Ibanez sr255 and an Ibanez sr250(both in candy apple red) and they sound totally awesome. I am thinking about purchasing an Ibanez gsr205 for my friend's band. that bass in particular may not be that great for some people, but I think it's a pretty decent bass. I was thinking either get that or the schecter raiden deluxe 5-string bass.

That is a nice looking bass you got there. I own schecter stiletto basses myself. I own a schecter stiletto elite 5-string bass(2004 model) and a schecter stiletto extreme 4-string bass. both great sounding bass guitars.

My '00 Squire P, without a doubt. Thing is crappy as hell and fights for every step but I love it. I paid 140, brand new. Classic black with a white face. The nickel rounds on it haven't been cleaned or changed in 2 years. The deadness is awesome with a good fuzz. I'm about to drop some new quarter pounders in her and everything will be perfect.
My Hofner Ignition. It was 439.00 with a case, the best Hofner I've owned over 40 of playing them.
