Probably one of the prettiest basses I've seen in a while!

Anyone ever heard or seen one?

I like the look of it, but really don't like the gold hardware.

Looks good, but I smell a lawsuit from Fender. The shape is too close to a Jaguar:

Love the fingerboard and p-guard,never been much on green,but I like it.Very cool,in a different kinda way.

Do you suppose it's just the lighting, or is the fingerboard tinted green?

Yeah indeed, it's pretty much the same as the jaguar. But we haven't seen it in real life, so it might be shaped differently.

Just checked the price and did the conversion to $USD, and it came to over $7000! Can that be right?

I'm personally not lovin the green, but it's unique, I will give it that. And yes, it looks exactly like the Jaguar.

Incidentally, I think ESP is kind of underrated. They make some solid entry and intermediate level basses- I dunno about their high end stuff, and I certainly don't know about $7k ... I am guessing that is probably be en error.

I suppose, I wouldn't know anyone who in their right mind would pay that amount of money for a SIGNATURE bass. You can get one custom made for like half of the price, or maybe even less.

Still it's one of the prettiest basses i've seen!

Yes, the shape is in the Jag family but there is a sharper curvature between the neck and upper horn, Also more curve on the lower horn as well. It seems the neck pocket on the ESP also begins at the 15th fret whereas the Jaguar is at the 16/17th fret on the upper horn. They should have added 2 frets also.

I think different enough to escape the lawsuit.

I think the only licensed part of the Fender body is the headstock, otherwise all of these other companies couldn't make the copies that they do.

Otherwise, I think the finish is really cool. If it plays as good as it looks it would be a winner.

Green and gold is a common color combo for all kinds of stuff.

Don't know about $7k though.

I want to say "not enough knobs", but I'm really not that sarcastic I dig it, green tinted maple board and all. ESP's Custom shop does very nice work, and it is definitely pricey, so that 7K is likely accurate. For that money I'd get a Smith and take the wife on a weekend trip.

I've always had a thing for "real" (Japanese-market) ESP guitars and basses. The stuff the send here isn't nearly as interesting.
