100_0449.JPG I don't think I posted on the intro yet. I've been playing bass for about 27 years now. I play a Fender Jazz, 3 Carvins and a Status Empathy. I have owned another Fender, Yamaha and 2 Alembics. Presently running MB amps and a Carvin Combo.
I play mostly classic rock, Motown, blues, soul and some funk. I can read bass clef,...although I'm not the most musically educated.

I don't gig too often....I hate loud bands and smoke. I can sing and play bass well....not great. Maybe a better singer than bass player.
I consider myself to be a glorified hack.

I've been very aware of music since I was 4 or 5, mostly vocals, but I wasn't drawn to the bass until Level 42 (Mark King) caught my ear. Then things snowballed from there. Jaco, TB Schmidt, Jack Bruce, Mick Karn, Tiran Porter, Flea,Sting,Mitsuru Sutoh,........

Yes, my name is Soren.
