I kind of want to get the single chi-sonics in my fretless jo... but we'll see.
I think you'll like them. More versatile...

you loonies can keep the natural finish, chi or not.![]()
I usually only like natural basses when paired w/ a tort PG, but Markus' 07 is HOT!! It's that wild@55 grain..... SICK!
Changing topics a bit: that wall needs some BEM.
I like darker woods over the lighter stuff. So i guess i'm not against all natural finishes.![]()
I was cleaning up some pics today and realized that I forgot to post a pic of the 55-ProtoChi in the Chi Love Club! Good Lord this thing rocks.
They may look like Lakland pups, but they are Chi's underneath!
(It's spelled Raymond Luxury-Yacht, but it's pronounced 'Throat-Warbler Mangrove'.)
Funny!!! yup - I agree!
BTW - not sure if I posted BOTH of mine yet - so here they are together:
double humbucking CHI-love:

Single coil CHI -love

you know,, my old T-40 was named "Tank" because it was so heavy - I am thinking Blondie may have the nickname "Tank" just because she is so powerful!!!

BTW - Markus - have not trued 950 yet can you give me some idea what it does to the sound???
Both are gorgeous! The LH-3 pre with the Chi's is an amazing combo. I think I'm gonna break tradition and try some Stainless on her. I was thinking Long Necks, Ken Smith Compressors or MTD. Thoughts? I'd like them as 'smooth' as possible. Also don't wanna tear up frets.
any interested party for a raptor w/chi's?? check out what i have..http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7329983&posted=1#post7329983
Love that think man! you are 15! Funny stuff!
I think you should try some of the more lively flats...like TI's or Chromes.
Thanks man! I'm actually thinking that too. I really like Fergs 4-76 neck.
