Why do you need that big rectangular thingie when you have those basses hanging there? Geez....
you loonies can keep the natural finish, chi or not.
Obviously...you don't know what's good!
I usually only like natural basses when paired w/ a tort PG, but Markus' 07 is HOT!! It's that wild@55 grain..... SICK!

I like darker woods over the lighter stuff. So i guess i'm not against all natural finishes.
I'm the same way generally. I like the contrast of the silver strings and frets on a dark board, but I'm starting to appreciate maple necks again. I used to have a bass with a flame maple board that is still my favorite maple neck.
I was cleaning up some pics today and realized that I forgot to post a pic of the 55-ProtoChi in the Chi Love Club! Good Lord this thing rocks.
They may look like Lakland pups, but they are Chi's underneath!
(It's spelled Raymond Luxury-Yacht, but it's pronounced 'Throat-Warbler Mangrove'.)

Both are gorgeous! The LH-3 pre with the Chi's is an amazing combo. I think I'm gonna break tradition and try some Stainless on her. I was thinking Long Necks, Ken Smith Compressors or MTD. Thoughts? I'd like them as 'smooth' as possible. Also don't wanna tear up frets.

I think you should try some of the more lively flats...like TI's or Chromes.
I'm already #3 with the JO5. This is Chi #2!
I've got Lakland Flats on the JO5 CS. With the active pre, I want to peel some paint with this one..
for real?? AWESOME!! 
The older Lakland BEM necks have a darker honey color to them, which is a huge plus.... I despise bright yellow plain maple like you see on the new MM basses. I'm talking purely about aesthetics here, tonewise I'd pick maple over RW most of the time no matter how it looked . I've often wondered if they used a tinted oil back in the day on the BEM 
?? One exception... I prefer RW when the FB is blocked and bound, especially on white basses.
