How much do these basses you can order run for? I know there prices for each upgrade on laklands website but i wondering how accurate they are
The upgrades are pretty accurate. Bass prices vary depending on dealer. The US bass prices are generally lower.
+1. The street prices on the US basses are significantly lower than the list prices on the site. I hesitate to put a percentage on it because it can vary, but if you go to Bass Central's site and look at their US Lakland inventory, you can get a pretty good idea.

After lurking and taking in all this hype, I'm wondering if a Chi-Sonic in a regular soapbar cover would fit in an Ibanez SR506 (in place of the stock Bartolini MK1s)...because if so, I feel quite a devious idea coming on, involving Chi-Sonic-izing and passive-izing mine. Volume/Volume/Tone/Series-Parallel Switch? Awwwwww yeah.

There are ChiSonic drop ins for the 44-01 with regular cases. They might fit a few basses out there.
This. If the MK1s in your Ibby are the same size as those in the 55-01, the Chi drop-ins should be ready very soon. (The four-string versions are already available.)
How would the sound of lakland pickups compare to chi sonics in a 55-60?

Chisonics have a wider frequency response to my ears. Deeper lows, and smoother top.
