Oooh, that would be interesting. Chis do seem to work well with preamps...I wonder if there would be a way to add some Chi-love to an Ibanez ATK 300 with good results... I picked one up when they were on clearance for $130.00. Hmmmm...
Speaking of 44-01-Chi-Love: I turned this 44-01 into a CS-monster last week. My impression is that these are a litter hotter than regular CS's.

This bass is mine and it has been messing with my mind for quite a few weeks... It looks brilliant, the sound is absolutely awesome and the finish is top-notch, but....
My hands are wee bit too big. Everytime I play it, my left hands cramps up after about twenty minutes. Bummer. So guys; any advice?

I just picked me up a pair of Chi-Sonics for a build I'll be doing after the new year. I'm hoping someone might help me make a template. I could really use a tracing that includes the five bridge screws and the pickup routes (at least the bridge pup).
Are these all identical, or is there a bridge pup and a neck pup?
I plan on using them with a VVT wiring schematic and a 3-way (Tele-style) selector switch to enable soloing on the fly. Anybody see any issues with that idea? Is there a typical (or recommended) spacing?
