Its Offical!

Jan 18 @ Poplar Creek Church in Bartlett Illinois from 1:30 till 7:00 the

Talkbass Praise and Worship GTG

:hyper::hyper::hyper:

Please let me know if you think your gonna make it!:p

I will be there. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Our service ends around 1:30 but smalls groups and other activities go on around 4. I wonder if I should bail out after the service.....:) If everyone comes and leaves by 5...... :crying:

Btw, just so I know whether to stuff myself before going over there or not, will there be any food (free or not) at this GTG? I appreciate what you and your church are doing already and it wouldn't be fair to ask for food as well. I just need to know. :)

I ma still trying to work things out and "negotiate"....

If I come, I'll get some snacks....maybe we can all chip in for pizza (and PLENTY of napkins! no one is touching my basses with "cheese hands" LOL!)?

I am sure this will be a GREAT time...thanks again Dave for grabbing the ball and running with it!

I'm there for sure. I'll gladly +1 to the pizza thing. Nice and easy. I'll bring cups and napkins if no one else has it covered. Let me know.

It's a shame my Franken-Fender won't be ready to show off by the time the gtg goes down.:atoz: It would be nice to get your opinions of it.

PC church is on Schick, right?

While I voted for the 25th, I could probably make any day.
Is there going to be a feature group like at some of the other gtg. If not, maybe we could get a song list together if perhaps the p.a. (mics)were available for use. I have been leading worship the last 6 months with my Langejans acoustic and haven't done much with the bass since although I'll bring my recent project jazz (audere, custom enhanced grain finish) I did myself.

I haven't been able to line anything up as far as a clinic type thing and think it may be tough as I think were on a NAMM weekend, but I think it gonna be fun regardless

Sounds good to me. I should be able to make it on the 18th. I'll be up for chipping in on a pizza.

Anyone care to mention what they will be bringing or to take requests for bringing certain gear. (I'd like to get my grubby paws on ssomer's decade...)

If it's ready, I'll bring along my Franken-darkstar-decade'ish bass, plus my Jack Cassady'd Artcore, or my franken Jazz. Also I could bring along my Portabass 250 and 210 if we need another small amp system.

(I'd like to get my grubby paws on ssomer's decade...)

HA!!!! I'll definitely be bringing that bass, it's one of my favorites! I'll probably bring at least 6 basses, stuff that might be interesting/unique. I'll update the gear listed in my profile, if anyone sees something they'd like to check out, let me know.

Looking forward to the sharing!
