There is a possibility I can make it up from the south side.....
OK then,
I'll be representing the "budget-modder" end of things.
I'll have:
-Peavey VB-2 with an ampeg portabass 2x10
-Artcore with Jack Cassady pup/elec
-T-40 meets Decade Frankenbass
If there's any interest, I could also bring along a very nice '79 T-40.
One other question. A guitarist friend of mine heard about the last GTG, and asked to be included in the next go-around. Would that be OK? I haven't mentioned this to him, so if that's outside the scope of this gathering, than that's fine.
anyone have anything they particularly want me to bring
I was planning on bringing my "favorite" basses(decade, 55-94, Starfire, Glaub), but if anybody see's something they want to check out specifically that I have, I'm happy to load up the car!
yankeesman714, I can bring my Yamaha EUB for you to check out.
Basses:
Lakland: Osborn fretted and fretless, Decade, Glaub P/J, 55-94, Skyline Darryl Jones, prototype Lightwave fretless.
Sadowsky NYC ultra vintage, Fender 1966 Precision, Fender Jaguar, Guild '96 Starfire, MTD 535, Danelectro DC, Yamaha EUB.
I'm planning on bringing a Markbass F1 with a Mesa cab, and my two pedalboards.
Yes, indeed! Mine has nickels on it, BTW--I just got it last week, so I won't be changing the strings anytime soon.Yeah, my Decade has the DS's in it. It'll be very cool to compare the new Chi's and the DS's!
I'll see if I can bring the Mesa Big Block, it lives in my band van right now. VT pedal will be there for sure.
davec, I'd like to add a +2 to the list of attendees. Two good friends from my church can come, too(Ruban and Dan). It should account for another couple cool 55-94's in attendance as well!
Shawn
basspraiser, I'd love to compare Glaub PJ's! I think the J pickup is routed in an odd spot on mine, and would love to see what it's supposed to sound like!

No worries if the Big Block can't make it. I'm looking forward to the VT, I'm really close to buying one.
