looks like I am in!

I can bring my "huge binder of praise songs" (i.e the stuff we do on Sundays!)

I will bring several Laklands...anyone want to try something in particular (see my Sig for my Lakies)?

I can bring soda (pop for those of you "sout siders") and I think we all can pitch in for pizza....

sounds like a fun time!!!!

What? A GTG I didn't know about? Close to my home?

Sa-WEET!

The 18th you say? I'll check my calendar. I think I might be able to make it!

Sorry Dis.....you seem to have disappeared! where you been!? would love to see you...

BTW - without getting toooo personal.....married yet? I know that was on the docket in one of the last posts I saw from you....

YEP! Got married in September on stage, then had all our friends come and play for us. We even got up and played a few songs (I did vocals on 3 songs and keys on 1, no bass for me that day!) It was rocker!

It actually turns out I can't make it on the 18th :( I tried but I have something going on that I wasn't able to reschedule.

BUT, maybe next time!

Congrats!!!!

too bad you cannot make it....since I know you are still "around" either Greg or I will keep you up on future GTGs....check out the GTG in March/April at Lakland (another thread)....

Getting excited about this also. Who is bringing amps? I don't have anything too special, but there seems to be some interest around here in the "low-end" tube amps and I have a VB2 I could bring along if anyone's interested. Otherwise I could just bring my portabass rig, just to have one more rig for folks to play through.

Also, Tomm of Redemption Bass dropped off the body today, so if I can get it finished, I'll bring along the Decade/wal'ish-t40-darkstar-frankenbass.

Bring the VB-2 if you can--I played one at GC for a bit recently and really liked it. That Frankenbass sounds very interesting!

I'll bring my Skyline Decade and Darkstar'd Glaub. I can also bring my Mesa Walkabout Scout.

OK then,
I'll be representing the "budget-modder" end of things.
I'll have:
-Peavey VB-2 with an ampeg portabass 2x10
-Artcore with Jack Cassady pup/elec
-T-40 meets Decade Frankenbass

If there's any interest, I could also bring along a very nice '79 T-40.

One other question. A guitarist friend of mine heard about the last GTG, and asked to be included in the next go-around. Would that be OK? I haven't mentioned this to him, so if that's outside the scope of this gathering, than that's fine.
