I bought a Horror Pops cd after hearing some hype on them, and seeing they have a cool looking female bass player, but I have to say I was pretty disapointed. I think this girl is ALL image with not much going on in the bass department.
same thoughts here as well...The bass player was the best part. I watched about a minute and had to ask - when does the music start? The "singer" sounds like he is getting a proctological exam with a sawz-all.
Here's someone who's credentials would make most of us cry.

There is already a thread like that - except I think it was for guys at shows, not guy bassists.
The purpose of this thread (from me, the OP) was not for a drool & ogle fest, but for a chance for female bassists to show us how cool they are. Most guys are pervs (self included), but some guys just have no class, or are maybe just unmarried and have no sisters. You have a right to be ticked off IMHO - this thread was originally intended for people like you, to show off your cool factor without being attacked based on looks, like Elena from Imagika, who someone suggested was hiding her Adam's apple.... rude, rude, rude! I thought she looked pretty cool - no, I don't want to "do her," but I bet she'd be fun to party and jam with!! Now whenever she Google's her own name those comments are going to get hits...

I'm not necessarily agreeing with every post made in this thread, but I don't see why 1.) you wouldn't expect this out of a predominantly male forum, and 2.) you're getting so upset by genuinely harmless humor. These guys are just another username on the internetz, they're not looking to personally attack anybody or specifically hurt YOUR feelings.

I can't really recall any time Maki tried to hit on Disenchant...and even then, Dis would prolly rip Maki's head(s) off and put them on her wall as trophies.
