there really isnt a single place...not even on the friggen internet where women can be themselves....and NOT get either made fun of...or hit on constantly....

Well, I posted this before I read she was 15, but having thick skin and a sense of humor are important in life.

I remember being 15 and thinking I knew everything, man was I wrong.:eyebrow::rolleyes:

ps- What is she doing posting at these hours? Shouldn’t she be in school?

Oh yes, very much so. I am the dumbest of the dumb, to say the very least. Thank you for reminding me. :D

Like I said before, I was not necessarily defending every post, and that was one of the posts I was NOT defending.

Lighten up already. If anything your posts have proven that you have skin like rice paper, and that's really not good considering where you're choosing to spend your time.

Oh, my... jeez. I'm sorry that I was SO offensive. I sometimes forget how politically correct we need to be here. I edited the original post so that I'm not bringing down talkbass. Everybody that I quoted below had quoted my offensive joke. I removed my post, so would you three please edit your posts so that my horible offensive hatefull comments may be fully stricken from the record. No need to call the mods on me - I'm due to for a self imposed ban anyway. Thanks. Carry on.

im posting at these hours because i've been sick for hmm......4 days now...been missin school....totaly sux.

i dont think i know everything just fyi...but i know more then ANY1 gives my credit for. I am wise beyond my years as i've been told by many adults....but you probably arent seein that when im angry.

i have a great sense of humor and thick skin...i can laugh at just about anything.

I'm the funniest out of every1 i know....but dude...you cant expect me 2 be "hahaha"-ing when i am SUPER p*ssed.

I know my computers..... i was taking a Jr lvl computer class in 8th grade...ok im not an idiot.

just some of you guys need to have some manners...and some respect for women...those of you who are EXTRA rude...you're probably single..and it may very well stay that way if you dont clean up your act.

For the very few girls that ARE on here....show them some decensy(or however u spell it)
i have yet to find a firl on TB..with a username that is even remotley girl related..nothing like....Princessbassist or something....and theres prolly a reason to that.
If i didnt tell you guys i was a girl..you would never think the wiser.

umm yeah....i just got an infraction because i said stupid.........and a few weeks ago i got in trouble because i said g*y (homose*ual) but i didnt mean it in those terms...i meant it in a different way....but of course...you guys get to post up pictures of naked women and women in lengerie (wow butchered that) and the moderators think its cute.

not very fair...w/e...

are there even any women moderators??

in what way do you mean?

I take offense to that because my significant other came out to me and told me that she swings both ways (and I have been supportive ever since). I still think women ogling pales in comparison to taking someone's lifestyle and using it to describe something that is "stupid."

maybe to even things out we'll post pictures of men in spandex.

When she finally grows up, she'll learn that you have to pick and choose what offends you, or you'll consantly be offended.

My wife posts of a few 'woman-dominated' forums, and I can promise you that the discussions about men are way more 'offensive' and 'sexist' than anything I've seen on this thread, or this forum for that matter. It works both ways.

Men like attractive women. Men talk about attractive women. But.........and here's the shocker......women like attractive men. Women talk about attractive men.

She should learn to deal with it. Hopefully, her parents will coach her through this, and more closely monitor her internet usage at the same time.
