I saw the Hold Steady at the 9:30 club in DC last week and Art Brut was the opening act. The bass player in Art Brut is a woman and she, along with her whole band, played a great show.
You shouldn't post comments like that online, I've gotten in deep trouble with my gf over much more trivial things than that.
